The University of Southampton, as part of a student project, is conducting a study, to explore the use of the internet to find information about complementary and alternative medicine amongst people living beyond breast cancer. Study organisers are asking anyone in Sussex: “If you have finished treatment for breast cancer in the last five years, with a minimum of six months since your last active cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery), are an internet user, and would be interested in contributing to our research, we would like to hear from you. “We would like to interview people about how they use the internet to find out information about complementary and alternative medicine. You do not have to have ever used complementary and alternative medicine. The interviews will take approximately one hour and will be conducted over the telephone. “Your input will help the University of Southampton to identify and develop the appropriate resources to support people living beyond breast cancer make informed decisions about complementary and alternative medicine. “For more information or to assist in our study, please email Michelle Holmes at mmh1e13@soton.ac.uk with your name, address and preferred contact details and we will get in contact with you either through email or over the telephone.”
