Two schools have started a mass Covid-19 testing programme for staff and students still in attendance.

The Hastings Academy and The St Leonards Academy have temporarily converted learning space into an on-site testing station during national lockdown.

Hannah Carter, interim principal of The St Leonards Academy, said: “This has been a positive and reassuring step towards welcoming as many of our students and staff back as soon as we can. We are glad to be able to support the ongoing testing efforts happening in the community.”
