Firefighters in Chichester found themselves with an unusual task of rescuing a horse which had ended up in a swimming pool.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called out to the scene in Brandy Hole Lane yesterday evening (Saturday, May 14) and discovered the animal was inside, unable to get out.
Thankfully crews from the fire service’s Technical Rescue Unit (TRU) were able to successfully rescue the horse from the pool just before 7.45pm.
