May I, through your pages, thank the people of Hastings for turning out in such inclement weather to support Hastings Jack in the Green once again.

Although the sun eventually shone at the very end, we were astonished but pleased at how many people were prepared to stand on a misty West Hill!

It was wonderful to be able to dance on the newly-opened pier, where we have enjoyed so many years’ dancing and music.
